Exclusive infrared sauna,

for lasting renewal

The infrared sauna at Avanto° is the first step in the contrast therapy session.  It is a deliberate, transformative experience, designed for those seeking more than ordinary relaxation. Powered by full-spectrum heaters, it delivers deep, penetrating heat that improves circulation, eases muscle tension, and activates the body’s natural detox pathways. By creating a gentle hormetic stress, the sauna helps you recover faster, strengthen resilience, and support overall wellbeing. More than just heat, it’s a science-backed tool to restore balance in both body and mind.

Improves heart & cardiovascular health

By immersing yourself in crisp, controlled cold water, you activate powerful physiological responses that reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and strengthen mental clarity – a powerful tool for body and mind. This demanding ritual is reserved for those few who are prepared to go deeper to seek true transformation through the power of cold water immersion.

Time to relax

the avanto° experience

what you need to know

Contrast Therapy has been practiced for centuries, dating back to ancient Greece and Rome. At our Oxford based contrast therapy studio, we have developed a regime to help your body rejuvenate and recover. It cycles between deliberate heat exposure (sauna),  cold exposure (cold plunge), and red light therapy. This process stimulates and strengthens the cardiovascular, muscular, and nervous systems. Regular practice has been shown to help reduce inflammation, lower stress, improve circulation, build mental and physical resilience, and enhance recovery.

You’ll have use of:

• Private changing room
• Shower and swimsuit dryer
• Infrared sauna
• Cold plunge
• Red light therapy (panels are in the changing rooms for privacy)

Toilets and a water fountain are available within Hall Personal Training. You’re welcome to use one if not all three of our modalities in the Avanto° space.
